Divisions of the Plantae Kingdom

Phyla are the first divisions of the Biological Kingdoms. In fact until as recently as the early 1990's was indeed referred to as Divisions when the name Phylum was internationally accepted to replace it. With advances in the science of biogenetics there are numerous and constant restructuring of these and indeed all the other biological taxons.
